4 Fun Easter Game Ideas for Kids

Mar 26th 2018

Easter is a great time for friends and family to get together. If you’re in charge of hosting Easter, or maybe you’re the one bringing all the children, there are a number of Easter-themed games that can keep the kids occupied and having fun. Below are just a few Easter game ideas for them to play.

1: Egg Toss

A traditional Easter game, you make 2 person teams and toss an egg to each other. Take a step backwards after each successful toss. If your egg breaks, you lose. Whoever can make it the furthest without their egg breaking wins!

2: Egg & Spoon Race

For this game, each participant is given an egg and a spoon. Have them line up at the starting line and place their egg in the spoon. When the race begins, their goal is to get to the finish line without the egg dropping. If the egg drops and doesn’t break, they can start over back at the starting line and keep racing until someone reaches the finish line.

3: Easter Egg Hunt

Here is a classic game that everyone is sure to know and love. Everyone sets out to find Easter eggs that have been hidden beforehand. You can do this around your house or outside if the weather is nice enough.

If you’d like to put a little spin on this game and make sure that everyone finds their fare share of eggs, you can assign each player a different colored egg that only they can collect. Let everyone work together to make sure all the eggs are found!

4: Potato Sack Race

Another well-known game, the objective is to keep your legs inside a potato sack and hop to the finish line. To give this game more of an Easter theme, have everyone playing put on  bunny noses or bunny ears and hop to the finish line!
